& Privacy Statement
For the use of the “MÄURER & WIRTZ Academy” offer requiring registration, offered by MÄURER & WIRTZ GmbH & Co. KG (hereafter referred to as “MÄURER & WIRTZ”) on the website www.parfum-trainng.de, the following terms of use apply.
I. General
- Usage authorisation: the following individuals are authorised to use the training offers of the MÄURER & WIRTZ Academy: retail customers of MÄURER & WIRTZ as well as private individuals who are at least 18 years old and who work in a company that is a registered MÄURER & WIRTZ client with a corresponding client number at MÄURER & WIRTZ, as well as other individuals authorised by MÄURER & WIRTZ who are at least 18 years old.
- Registration: on request after registration at www.parfum-training.de, authorised users will receive an e-mail from MÄURER & WIRTZ or a company commissioned by MÄURER & WIRTZ which provides confirmation of successful registration. Participation in the MÄURER & WIRTZ Academy begins by clicking on the relevant confirmation link and logging into the portal of the MÄURER & WIRTZ Academy for the first time.
- Access: every user is assigned a personal login with a password. Users can only access the full scope of the functions of the MÄURER & WIRTZ ACADEMY after each respective login. Users must take care to ensure that no unauthorised third parties gain knowledge of their passwords. If there is a risk of misuse, MÄURER & WIRTZ or a company commissioned by MÄURER & WIRTZ must immediately be informed so that the password can be changed promptly.
- Deregistration: users can deregister at any point in time on the site www.parfum-training.de or via e-mail or letter by writing to:

II. Notes regarding data protection
The following regulations for data protection apply when using the MÄURER & WIRTZ Academy:
- Customers/participants can find information regarding the collection and usage of user data which occurs regardless of participation in the MÄURER & WIRTZ GmbH Academy at the following link: http://www.parfum-training.de/datenschutz.
- In order to participate in the MÄURER & WIRTZ Academy, MÄURER & WIRTZ requires basic information from the customer, in particular, their name, address, e-mail address, username and password. Fields that are mandatory for participation appear with an asterisk on the corresponding input form. Users may voluntarily provide additional information to optimise the offer.
- User data is collected, saved and used by MÄURER & WIRTZ GmbH& Co. KG, Zweifaller Str. 120, 52224 Stolberg as the responsible office for running the MÄURER & WIRTZ Academy. This includes, in particular, the optional mailing of newsletters from the MÄURER & WIRTZ company as well as other interesting informational materials regarding MÄURER & WIRTZ via mail or e-mail, sending e-mails about your blog posts as well as sending you your winnings, as long as this type of use has been agreed to.
- Users have the option to unsubscribe from the e-mail newsletter using the link given at the end of each newsletter.
- If a user wishes to delete a customer account set up with MÄURER & WIRTZ GmbH then MÄURER & WIRTZ will delete all data collected, saved, processed and used in this context.
- MÄURER & WIRTZ is authorised to commission companies or individuals carefully selected according to the Federal Data Protection Act to take on or carry out, in its name, tasks which are related to the purpose laid out in this privacy statement. These include, for example, internet providers, server operators, companies which process payments and other supporting companies and/or individuals. Such companies may be allowed to access personal data which is required for carrying out their work. Any other usage is not permitted for these companies and/or individuals.
- MÄURER & WIRTZ reserves the right to modify these terms of data protection at any time, taking into account the conditions under data protection law. MÄURER & WIRTZ will inform the user of all modifications to these terms of data protection via e-mail to the e-mail address provided by the user during registration.
- This website uses Piwik, a free web-analysis software.
Piwik uses so-called “Cookies”. Cookies are text files which are saved on the user’s computer and which enable MÄURER & WIRTZ to analyse website usage. The information generated by the cookies regarding the use of this website is transferred to a server and saved there for the purposes of analysis. After processing and before saving, the IP address is made anonymous. III. Blogs, comments, communication and other contents
Insofar as MÄURER & WIRTZ offers blogs, comment walls or other types of communication within the framework of the MÄURER & WIRTZ Academy, their use is determined by the following conditions:
- Participants may, as long as this is intended, write comments, blog posts and other contents on the site www.parfum-training.de, in addition to sending or uploading suggestions, ideas, questions or other information. It is forbidden to send or upload illegal, obscene, insulting, threatening, defamatory or otherwise rights-infringing content. This applies particularly to political campaigns, advertising materials, computer viruses or spam.
- MÄURER & WIRTZ reserves the right to review, approve, delete or edit all content before publication. If a user is of the opinion that their intellectual property rights have been violated by a post, MÄURER & WIRTZ must be notified.
- If a user posts content on www.parfum-training.de or sends in or uploads materials, he/she guarantees, unless otherwise stipulated: (a) that MÄURER & WIRTZ shall have the non-exclusive, free of charge, sub-licensable and transferable right to the use, duplication, modification, processing, publication, translation, production of derived works, dissemination and reproduction of this content worldwide across all media; and (b) that MÄURER & WIRTZ and its sub-licensees and transferees shall have the right to use the name which the user has sent along with this content. Moral rights will not be transferred by this regulation. MÄURER & WIRTZ hereby accepts this transfer.
- The user agrees that the rights granted above will be guaranteed irrevocably during the entire term of protection of their intellectual property rights as related to these contents and materials. The user agrees, if requested by MÄURER & WIRTZ, to undertake all necessary additional actions in order to achieve any of the above rights which he/she has granted to MÄURER & WIRTZ, including the completion of formal documents and records.
- The user guarantees that he/she possesses or otherwise has access to all rights to the contents which he/she has composed; that, at the time the contents and material were prepared: (I) the contents and materials are free from errors; and (II) the use of the contents and materials which he/she provides does not breach any applicable conditions and guidelines of MÄURER & WIRTZ and does not damage any individual or company (which includes the stipulation that the contents or materials must not be defamatory). The user agrees to release MÄURER & WIRTZ from all claims of third parties which are asserted against MÄURER & WIRTZ and which arise from, or in the context of, the contents or materials he/she has provided, except in the extent to which MÄURER & WIRTZ is responsible for a failure to delete contents accordingly as soon as notification of their illegality was provided at www.parfum-training.de.
IV. Miscellaneous
- MÄURER & WIRTZ is entitled to modify these terms of participation at any time without a period of notice, to cancel the program completely or partially, or to exclude individual users from the program without providing justification. There is no opportunity of legal recourse.
- The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany apply exclusively with the exception of the conflict-of-law provisions.
